Who Should Attend? The QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (Annual Refresher) (RQF) qualification is specifically designed to allow qualified first aiders to update their first aid skills yearly, until requalification training is required. Learning Outcomes The course covers the following areas so the learner will: ? Be able to demonstrate the practical administration of safe, prompt, effective first aid in emergency situations with an understanding of the role of first aider. ? Manage an unresponsive casualty ? Understand how to perform CPR including Defibrillators ? Understand and manage a range of illnesses and injuries including heart attacks, choking, head and spinal injuries, fractures, anaphylaxis and more Modules will cover ? Assessing an incident ? Managing an unresponsive casualty ? CPR and AED use ? Recovery Position ? Choking Candidates will undertake 3 practical assessments during the course. Maximum attendees ? 10 people
