CITB Health and Safety
CITB H&SA is an introductory health and safety course for people new to the construction and civil engineering industries. As one of the Site Safety Plus courses, it teaches you the primary health and safety issues on construction sites and how these affect your role. It is also recommended as a health and safety knowledge refresher after five years.
The CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test is an important way for construction workers to show they can be safe on the job. It’s also a way for them to know that their fellow workers are as safe on the site and not put them at risk of injury. The course is also relevant for anyone wishing to apply for a Construction Skills Certificate Scheme Card so they can work on UK construction sites.
The SMSTS course is for project managers, site managers and supervisors, business owners and clients. You will gain an understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues on construction sites leading to the CITB renewable five-year Site Safety Plus certificate.
This SSSTS course is for site supervisors. You will learn about your legal responsibilities regarding health, safety, welfare and environmental issues leading to the CITB renewable 5-year Site Safety Plus certificate.
The IOSH SHECW course provides the core knowledge your workers need to stay safe and embeds the excellent understanding and techniques required to keep others safe. The course is relevant to anyone who works on or around a construction site or has cause to visit the area due to the nature of their work.
IOSH Working Safely is a course for people at any level, in any sector, that will boost business performance and staff motivation. By simply showing how everyone can enhance their safety, health and well-being through everyday behaviours.
This is an entirely different approach to safety and health training: a high-impact programme designed to be fun and inclusive — no jargon, no legalese – just inspirational learning that’s enjoyable, stimulating and effective.
