Who Should Attend? Managers, or those looking to go into a managerial position. Learning Outcomes The course covers the following areas so the learner will be able to: ? Implement all updated health, safety, welfare and environmental legislation which affects your management role. ? Implement new guidance and industry best practice. ? Fulfil your duties and responsibilities with regards to health, safety, welfare and the environment. Modules will cover ? Day 1 ? Health and safety facts and figures ? Health and safety and the manager. ? Legal systems in the UK. ? Risk assessments and management. ? Health and safety management systems. ? Working at height regulations 2005 ? RIDDOR and First Aid provisions. ? Day 2 ? The construction regulations 2015. ? Various other legislation. ? Construction hazards. ? Occupational health. Candidates are continually assessed throughout the course on their involvement and performance. Candidates must present a presentation and complete a written paper to pass. On completion, candidates will receive a CITB SMSTS certificate that lasts 5 years. Maximum attendees ? 12 people
