Qualsafe QA Level 2 Award in Moving People Safely (RQF)
This regulated and nationally recognised qualification provides Learners with the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in the principles of manual handling when moving objects and people. It also allows Learners to practise a range of techniques that they can apply to their workplace.
Course Information
Half Day Course
Learners will develop the knowledge and skills relevant to manual handling of objects and the safe moving and handling of people. Topics covered include:
- Common handling injuries
- The potential impact to a person if moved incorrectly
- Personal handling plans
- Preserving dignity
- Health and safety when moving a person
- Using equipment
