Who Should Attend?
This qualification is for those aged 16 years and over who have an interest in Mental Health and would like to raise their awareness of Mental Health within the workplace and in general. This would benefit all employees within an organisation to raise the profile of mental health within an organisation.
Learning Outcomes
The course covers the following areas so the learner will:
? Understand Mental Health and it?s importance
? Awareness of a range of common Mental Health conditions
? Understand the need for self-care and mindfullness
Modules will cover
? Recognise the definition of the terms Mental Health and Mental Health Illness
? Recognise signs of stress
? Recognise the effects of depression on employee?s performance at work
? Recognise signs of suicide
? Identify the need for self-care to help own mindfulness
The course will conclude with candidates undertaking a written assessment, the successful completion of which will result in the awarding of a Qualsafe Level 1 Award in Introduction to Mental Health in the Workplace (RQF) which is an Ofqual Regulated Qualification accredited by Qualsafe Awards, valid for 3 years.
